Yves Jacob (he/him/his)

Yves Jacob is Head of Europe, Global Regulatory Affairs, at Sanofi. In his current role, Yves provides European strategic regulatory expertise and oversight to support the European Countries. He is the representative of Sanofi to the EMA and when appropriate with external stakeholders (e.g., European Commission representatives, Trade Association representatives).
Yves is pharmacist and worked in retail pharmacy and hospital before transitioning to industry. He has more than 20 years of regulatory experience and held various positions in the regulatory affairs department in cardiology and diabetes, including as leader of globaregulatory teams responsible for obtaining initial approvals of several drugs. He also worked as R&D project director to initiate new clinical studies for anticholesterol drugs.
Located in Paris, Yves has been in his current position since July 2023, after 3 years as country regulatory head for France.
