Dr. Pierre-Emmanuel Thiriet is head of Research and Development at Rea Diagnostics. There, he is leading the development, validation and regulatory certification of novel diagnostics products addressing the unmet needs within the often-overlooked field of women's healthcare. His regulatory expertise lays in the realm of self-testing and how to bring innovative diagnostics solutions close to patients, enabling the transition from clinical settings to home-based care.
Dr. Pierre-Emmanuel Thiriet holds two Master’s degrees, from Centrale-Supélec in Paris and EPFL in Lausanne, respectively. He carried out a PhD at EPFL under direction of Prof. Guiducci, developing cutting-edge diagnostics solutions. Along his scientific career he served as a visiting scholar in the lab of Prof. Maharbiz in UC Berkeley and in the lab of Prof. Fordyce at Stanford University.
