Piritta Maunu (MSc) is a senior manager and a team leader of UK & Nordics medical device/IVD services at Pharmalex.

Piritta is a highly experienced medical device professional with over 20 years of experience in the development, manufacture, quality and regulatory of vaccines and medical devices/IVDs. She has work experince from GMP production and quality control, from medical device/IVD manufacturers and also from an EU notified body. Her areas of expertise include ISO 13485 and GMP quality management systems, EU MDR, combination products, EU IVDR, companion diagnostics (CDx), sterilization techniques, auditing and technical documentation. Piritta has a broad understanding of industrial measurement products, services, software and systems also. She has a master's degree in cell biology and also holds a teaching qualification.
