Javier Castillo is a dedicated quality and regulatory leader with a passion for advancing medical technology to improve patient lives. As Head of Quality & Regulatory at INBRAIN Neuroelectronics, he focuses on building robust regulatory strategies, ensuring compliance with global standards, and supporting the development of groundbreaking neuroelectronic therapies. His efforts have contributed to securing breakthrough designation for neuromodulation devices and obtaining key regulatory clearances for clinical investigations.

With a background spanning Align Technology, Medlumics, and GN ReSound, Javier has led teams through complex regulatory landscapes, harmonized global quality systems, and supported innovation in highly regulated environments. He brings deep expertise in FDA, MDR, MDSAP, and ISO frameworks, always striving to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Holding a Master’s in Chemistry and an Executive MBA, along with specialized certifications in ISO 13485 and FDA regulations, Javier remains committed to learning and collaboration. At RAPS Convergence 2025, he looks forward to sharing insights on navigating regulatory pathways for emerging medical technologies and contributing to the dialogue on the future of quality in healthcare.
