Description: This session aims to explore the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence (AI) within regulatory frameworks, focusing on the concept of AI sandboxes and assurance mechanisms. Participants will gain insights into how different AI sandboxes are structured and how they support AI systems before wider deployment. The discussion will address different perspectives from regulatory entities, such as the MHRA and EMA, industry experience in regulatory sandbox project and from European sandbox initiatives, with vision from an European project for coordination and support of the different AI Regulatory sandboxes initiatives..
